The runner arrived and is not the usual material used for indoor/outdoor rugs. It is in fact just woven plastic. It was no use for my original purpose as it would have been too slippy on the floor. However I have used it in a porch which is not really used as an entrance in/out of the house. It looks quite smart and at £12 what can you expect?
